Specials Management

IBDC’s automated specials take all the work out of managing online specials for the dealership. The specials page consists of 3 components: Manufacturer Rebates and Incentives, Manager’s specials (New Car Specials based on actual inventory), and Used Car Specials.

The Manufacturer Rebates are taken directly from the Manufacturer’s website and will be updated monthly. This section will include Cash, Finance, and Lease offers. Consumers can view the details of a special and submit a form to claim the special offer.

Manager’s Specials can be placed on individual units or on categories of cars. Dealers may choose to let the application automatically place specials based on aging rules or dealers may choose individual vehicles or groups of vehicles to put on special. When a whole group of vehicles are put on special (for example, all Toyota Camry LE), then there will be one listing that says Toyota Camry LE, and when the customer opens the listing, they will see every Camry LE currently available along with the special price. The customer may then claim the special via a form.

Used Specials - dealers may allow vehicles to be displayed based on aging rules (display the 4 vehicles that have been on the lot the longest, display any vehicle on the lot longer than 30 days, etc), or the dealer may choose to display a special on a category of cars (all 2004 Toyotas, for example). Again, customers claim the special via a form.
